What the journal keeps
Every day from My Day: your card of the day, the intention you chose, your mission (and whether you did it), your mood and your evening note. The data is stored in your browser’s local storage and never reaches our server.
The calendar shows which days you checked in, with the card you drew and the mood you picked. The weekly view puts your last seven cards side by side, which is often the most interesting part: patterns show up, a suit that keeps appearing, a mood that repeats on Mondays. The collection fills in as you discover new cards, and badges reward the habit without punishing you for missed days.
If you clear your browser data, the journal disappears too, so it is worth downloading a copy now and then. You can remove everything Ask the Signs has stored on this device with “Clear my data” in the footer.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my journal stored?
Only in your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded, which also means that clearing your browser data deletes the journal, so download a backup now and then.
Can I move my journal to another phone?
Yes. Download it as a file, open Ask the Signs on the other phone and load the file in My Journal.
