Symbolism
Lightning strikes the top of a tall tower and knocks off its crown. Flames burst from the windows and two figures fall headfirst into the void. The tower stood on a lonely rock, built on pride or illusion. Twenty-two flames drift in the air like falling sparks of the divine, a reminder that even destruction carries light.
The Tower upright
The Tower brings sudden change or a revelation that knocks down old certainties. It can be shocking, yet it shows truth that was hidden. What falls was not stable anyway. Afterwards there is space to rebuild on firmer ground.
The Tower reversed
Reversed, The Tower suggests you are trying to hold up something that is already crumbling, or putting off an inevitable change. The longer you wait, the harder it can be.
Reversed keywords: avoiding the inevitable, fear of collapse, slow crumbling.
The Tower in love and relationships
A crisis, an unexpected truth or an argument that clears the air. A relationship may come out of it more honest, or it may end.

The Tower at work and in your career
Sudden changes, reorganization or a plan falling apart. Stay flexible and focus on what you can control.
The Tower and money
Unexpected expenses are possible. A safety cushion is especially valuable now.
Is The Tower a yes or no card?
Upright and reversed, The Tower leans toward no for the situation as it stands. Something needs to change at the root first.
The Tower in a spread
In the past position it points to where this began: a sudden shake-up that brings down what was built on weak foundations. That earlier chapter still colors the situation now.
In the present position it names the energy around you right now: sudden change, upheaval, revelation.
In the future position it shows where things are heading if nothing changes, and what you can do about it: let what is unstable fall, and build again on solid ground.
The card’s advice
Let what is unstable fall, and build again on solid ground.
